Both run on the server with the shared API key. Mixing a stronger model on the Professor with a faster one on the Partner is a common setup.

3. Begin
In group mode, the session code shown after start can be shared with anyone you want to invite. They open the same site, choose Join, and enter the code. The Professor scores each learner's answer; the Study Partner is Socratic-only.
